Backstreet Boys Add New Sphere Residency Dates
The Backstreet Boys have revealed six additional dates for their Las Vegas residency, “Into the Millennium,” scheduled for July 2026. This announcement comes shortly after the conclusion of their previous performances, which were met with overwhelming enthusiasm.
The band shared their excitement on Instagram, stating, “We’ve been seeing your posts, and it’s very clear that you guys do not want the party to be over at [Sphere].” Originally launched in July 2025 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their hit album Millennium, the residency has proven to be a massive success.
Each show has grossed over $4 million, totaling more than 575,000 tickets sold. The initial 21 shows sold out, prompting the first two extensions, bringing the total to 35 performances. The shows in this third extension will take place on July 16, 17, 18, and July 23, 24, 25. Presale tickets will be available on February 25, with general sales starting on February 27.
Poker Palace Reimagined as Club Fortune North
In a significant transformation, the Poker Palace is set to reopen in April as Club Fortune North following a change in ownership and extensive renovations. The iconic venue, known for its low buy-in poker tournaments, will now feature a modernized poker room and a fresh exterior design. Truckee Gaming acquired the property for around $20 million. It is committed to revitalizing the space, which has been a staple in the Las Vegas Valley since 1974.
Truckee Gaming CEO Ferenc Szony described the changes as a “pretty dramatic change from what it was.” The renovations include a complete overhaul of the interior, with plans for a new bar, upgraded kitchen, and a state-of-the-art poker room. While the former Poker Palace employed about 125 people, Club Fortune North will operate with approximately 100 employees. It will prioritize those who worked at the previous location.
Las Vegas Entertainment Scene Expands with Major Residencies
Las Vegas continues to offer diverse entertainment beyond the Backstreet Boys and the reopening of Club Fortune North. Other major residencies are set for 2026, including Bruno Mars and Jennifer Lopez.
Bruno Mars will kick off his “The Romantic Tour” on April 10-11 at Allegiant Stadium, while Jennifer Lopez’s ongoing residency, Up All Night Live, will continue until March. Dolly Parton is also preparing for her six-show residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace starting in September 2026.
